The delegation of the The Iraqi Associatuon for Medical Research and Studies, headed by Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi, President of the IAMRS, attended the meeting of the General Assembly of the Supreme Council of Scientific Associations in Baghdad.

The meeting discussed in the presence of high-level personals of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Scientific associations the ways in order to develop the work of the associations and upgrading it. The proposals of the members of the General Assembly of the Council were discussed and recommendations were made.

The Supreme Council of Scientific Associations includes representatives of all scientific associatins in Iraq and was established under the Law of Scientific Associations No. 55 of 1981.
